A little passion,
A little Art,
A little Science,
A little Magic.
We’re proud to be the first winery in Canada to plant and produce wine from three newly VQA‑approved grape varieties. In June 2025, Ontario expanded its certified list to include Sauvignon Rytos, Soreli FPS, and Cabernet Volos FPS; all now growing at Al Borgo Estates. These exciting additions reflect our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and exceptional taste. Each variety brings its own unique character and terroir-driven expression—ideal for wine lovers seeking exclusive, estate-grown
A charming sparkling rosé with a pale pink hue and lively bubbles. Bursting with orange blossom, peach, tropical notes, honey, it offers a fruity palate of candied citron and brioches balanced by refreshing acidity. Moscato Rosa delights on warm days or festive occasions. Crafted using the Charmat method, Al Borgo’s sparkling wines reflects old world tradition and precision wine making.
This iconic varietal found a great home to grow in our vineyard. Exposure, soil, and winds together creates an excellent microclimate. The wine has a straw colour with a fine bouquet, clean, ripe, deep with notes of white peach, golden apple, quince and yellow plum. Excellent as an aperitif, pairs perfectly with salads and grilled vegetables, fresh cheeses, white meats, baked and grilled fish. Serve @ 10°C.
Our 2023 vintage started slow, followed by a cool summer, but a dry, warm extended fall allowed us to fully ripen the grapes to create this incredible reserve. Deep ruby red with intense and elegant aromas of black pepper, toast, vanilla, leather, blackberry, and blueberry. Dry with good body and soft curves. Pairs well with grilled meat, aged cheeses, and pasta. Serve 15-18°c.
Al Borgo Estates is proud to offer the first Canadian Sauvignon Rytos. The offspring of Sauvignon Blanc and Bianca, this modern variety is distinguished by excellent disease resistance and great quality fruit. Pale straw, elegant aromas of white currants, gooseberry, lychee, peach, melon, fresh grass and baked bread. A clean, zesty finish lingers.
When Frankie came from Italy to Al Borgo Estates, he found two orphaned squirrels curled up in an old wine crate. He fed them, cared for them, and they made the vineyard their home. From that day on, they followed him through the rows, watching over the vines as he watched over them. This wine is a tribute to their unlikely friendship and the magic that grows when you care deeply for the land and its creatures.
