Ontario handcrafted wines

AL BORGO was established in 2019, and it will be a recognized and respected VQA boutique winery. AL BORGO is committed to making distinctive wines with quality, consistency, and longevity. The owners’ Italian culture inspired the name, AL BORGO, which means “to the village.” The team envisions the winery to be a hub for locals and tourists alike, to promote the town’s unique and local products, and to host a variety of events, operating as a village that unites its people.

Founders, Alessandro Spassiani and Joseph Panetta, have been involved in the wine industry for a total of 75 years, each member bringing to the partnership a depth of knowledge, experience, and – most importantly – a sincere passion for wine and wine-making. Together, the AL BORGO team has the skills to cater to consumers with a more sophisticated wine palate by producing premium quality grapes, as well as grape combinations, and by applying wine aging processes to perfect its wine.

The premium winery, AL BORGO, is located in Beamsville, Ontario, within the Regional Municipality of Niagara. The land is an 80-acre parcel, and it is in an excellent location for an Estate Vineyard and Winery, close to the town center. AL BORGO Estate will be approximately 20,000 square feet, divided into three sections: the winery with discovery centre, tasting room, retail store, a piazza, and an event space. Additionally, luxury cabins, comprised of ten luxury cabins, approximately 400 square feet each, will be a feature of the property.
